Our
Transom or Swim Ladder is made from 1” diameter stainless tubing.
It uses two 2 7/8” diameter mounting plates with three equally
spaced holes for ¼” fasteners. Fasteners are not included
as we do not know the thickness of material being mounted to. We do
recommend a backing plate be used. The mounting brackets form the pivot
for the up and down motion of the ladder. The stand offs have a “plastic”
glide on the end to protect the mounting surface when the ladder is
in the down or “use’ position. The ladder is not supplied
with a device to hold it in the up position. Ladder and mounts are electro-polished
